This program introduces art history to children and encourages them
to express themselves in their own creative way. Each class starts
by studying the works of an artist and the techniques used. The
children will create projects inspired by the particular artist or the
artist’s culture. Children are guided through projects as they develop
their eye and hand coordination. “Matisse, Monet and Me” fosters
each student’s natural urge to explore the world and be open to all
possibilities of expression through art.
